Connect Orphi to Muse
This page shows you how to add Orphi to Muse, so that Muse can practise with your own Orphi lessons and cards.
You need an Orphi account, and you must be 18 or older. Orphi uses OAuth. You sign in with your Orphi account, and you can disconnect at any time in Settings, under Connected assistants.
Every assistant connects to the same address:
https://mcp.useorphi.com/mcpConnecting Muse takes three steps:
- Add Orphi to Muse, from the connector directory or as a custom connector.
- Sign in with your Orphi account.
- Ask Muse about your Orphi lessons.
Step 1: Add Orphi to Muse
You can add Orphi from Muse's connector directory once Meta lists it there. Until then, you can ask Muse to add Orphi as a custom connector.
From the connector directory
This works only after Orphi is listed in Muse's connector directory.
- In Muse, open Settings, then Connectors.
- Find Orphi and connect it.
- Sign in with your Orphi account when Muse asks.
As a custom connector
- In a chat, ask Muse to add a custom connector for the MCP server at
https://mcp.useorphi.com/mcp. - Muse shows a consent screen that says Meta does not review custom connectors. Approve it to continue.
- Sign in with your Orphi account when Muse asks.
Meta has not published step-by-step instructions for custom connectors, so the screens you see can differ.
Step 2: Sign in with your Orphi account
Muse opens Orphi's sign-in page. Sign in the way you sign in to Orphi, then allow Muse to use your account. Muse then appears in Orphi's Settings, under Connected assistants.
A new connection can only read your Orphi data. To let Muse save words, review results, notes and lessons, open Settings in Orphi and turn on Allow changes for Muse.
Step 3: Ask Muse about your lessons
Ask Muse, for example:
- "Which of my Orphi cards are due today? Quiz me on them."
- "Let's talk in Spanish about my Orphi lesson."
Muse does not show Orphi's study screens. It uses the text that every Orphi tool returns.
To see every tool that Muse can call, read Look up every Orphi tool.
